The Film, TV and streaming industry is facing mulitple challenging trends, most of them based on the disruptive evolution of Media Tech.
At #MTHCON23 we dove into the 5 key trends shaping the industry in 2023:
„people carrying lots of TVs, pop art“ | created by AI, curated by human
MediaTech is a daily reality for any audience. But what are the MediaTech-based answers to our increasingly savvy audiences’ demands?
„a popcorn machine produces money, pop art“ | created by AI, curated by human
In the age of VOD, how can content owners attract more eyeballs and for longer – in a word, how can they sell more “popcorn”?
„artificial intelligence shoots a film, pop art“ | created by AI, curated by human
Generative AI is front page news right now. How will it disrupt the industry – with new workflows, better tools or even scriptwriting?
„data in prison, pop art“ | created by AI, curated by human
The audiovisual industry potentially has vast quantities of data to enhance production and distribution. But too much of this data is stuck in silos. How can we boost access to data?
„change your mindset, pop art“ | created by AI, curated by human
Although MediaTech is changing rapidly, the audiovisual industry is still mired in tradition. It’s time to transform our mindset. How to navigate new collaborations and rethink the whole supply chain?
For #MTHCON23, we had prepared two intense program days featuring more than 50 international MediaTech experts. The program included eye-opening keynotes, thought-provoking panel discussions, and hands-on workshops. In addition to the stage program, we also had lined up some exciting events, plenty of networking opportunities, and exclusive access-only experiences.
THE central stage for your MediaTech update. Find MediaTech in international film: on our Expert Stage we welcomed global thought-leaders. Hosted in the cinema auditorium of Rotor Film and moderated by tech journalist and media commentator Kate Bulkley.
Groundbreaking AI applications, latest tech in journalism, innovative startups and new insights from the #MTHCON24 guest of honour Norway. Placed in the Fx.center the horizon stage extended our skyline of knowledge.
From redefining business models to exploring the transformative power of AI: In our four workshops, participants had a hands-on chance to delve further into the topics from the Expert Stage or gain insights, skills and ideas with the Media Academy. An ideal opportunity for deep MediaTech learning.
We want to thank more than 50 speakers from 7 countries that shared their expertise in MediaTech on two stages at #MTHCON23! Among them were:
