What a start to MediaTech Hub Conference 2026!
Following the Opening Keynote by streaming expert Marion Ranchet on European media sovereignty, Day 1 at Studio Babelsberg was packed with debates about where MediaTech is heading.
On the Expert Stage, the conversation moved from new creative possibilities in VFX and virtual production to the future of streaming in Europe and the challenge of helping audiences find the right content. Over on the Horizon Stage, the focus shifted to journalism and the ways AI agents and automated news production are already affecting newsroom workflows.
Between sessions, many of you got hands-on in the AI Garden and at our Virtual Production Stage. The day wrapped up with live music in the MTH Garden.
A warm thank you to all our speakers and participants for a first day full of big questions and even better conversations!
