Nat is building a cross-platform digital consumer proposition across a portfolio of new and expanding brands, including the likes of Bluey, BBC Earth and TopGear. A core objective being building capabilities within BBC Studios, around these IP’s, to support a robust and diversified commercial model fit for a digital world. This model reaches across Ad Sales and Brand Partnerships through to Social Video monetisation, DTC Consumer sales and content licensing.
Nat joined BBC Studios in summer 2023 from Jungle Creations, a global social publisher, where he was Chief Operating Officer. In 6 years, he drove the growth of this business from 30 people and £3M revenues to 175 people, >£30M revenues and £6M EBITDA. Nat raised $4m Series A VC investment to support the diversification of the social publishing commercial model. He delivered a successful exit to the Private Equity firm Livingbridge.
Before this, Nat launched the programmatic monetisation strategy for dmg media. In his role as Director of Programmatic, he grew this business to the single largest revenue line within the group at £50M annual turnover. Nat also won the Rising Star award at the Media Week awards for the role he played in building proprietary technology to increase ad yields by >30%.
Outside of digital Nat sits on the board of parkrun as a trustee. parkrun is a global heath charity and works to use the power of the running community to make the world a happier and healthier place.
