Maria Schrader is opening MediaTech Hub Conference 2025 with a Keynote on how Creativity and Technology intertwine.
As one of the few German filmmakers to successfully break into Hollywood, Maria Schrader has shown how stories can resonate across the globe. Her projects are characterised by a precise awareness of social developments – and by her ability to harness modern technologies to serve emotionally engaging and relevant storytelling.
Her achievements speak for themselves: three German Film Awards for Best Actress, a Silver Bear for “Aimée & Jaguar”, and a Primetime Emmy for the Netflix series “Unorthodox” (2020). With “I’m Your Man” (2021), awarded a Silver Bear and four German Film Awards, she demonstrated how artistic vision and modern technology can work seamlessly together. Her latest film, “She Said”, was recognised by the American Film Institute in 2022 as one of the year’s best films.
In her keynote Maria Schrader will explore the role of creativity in an industry increasingly defined by AI, global platform strategies, and technological change. In doing so, she sets the framework for two days of innovation, debate, and hands-on insights – underscoring why creativity remains the guiding compass in our technology-driven industry.
This perspective makes her the ideal voice to open #MTHCON25 – after all, technology is only meaningful when it serves the stories of creatives.
