Sebastian Herbst

Sebastian Herbst has produced several films that have found success at prestigious international festivals, including the Berlinale, SXSW, SSIFF, and Series Mania, and was a finalist for the Student Academy Award. He co-founded the emerging production company ARKANUM and co-initiated the non-profit organization „Das Kollaborativ,“ dedicated to supporting the next generation of filmmakers. Sebastian specializes in the intersection of innovative storytelling and cutting-edge technology, such as Virtual Production. He is building his production house in the heart of the historic Babelsberg film complex and is an alumnus of the EAVE Producers Workshop 2025.
