Professor Justin Lewis

Professor Justin Lewis is Director of Media Cymru, one of the UK’s largest UK Government funded creative industries innovation consortia, funding and supporting 180 research, development and innovation projects with creative companies. He is also o-Director of the Centre for Creative Economy (Cardiff University) and was formerly Director of Clwstwr, part of the UK’s Creative Industry Cluster Hubs programme, and a former Head of the School of Journalism, Media and Culture at Cardiff University. He chaired the last UN Research Excellence Framework Panel for Communication, Culture and Media Media, and is a Fellow of the British Academy. He has written widely, with over 120 books, journal articles and book chapters covering a range of media and cultural issues.
