Ian Whittaker

Ian Whittaker is the founder of Liberty Sky Advisors, an independent advisory firm specialising in media economics, advertising, capital markets and geopolitical risk. He spent 20 years as a City equity research analyst covering global media, technology and marketing services, and was twice named City AM Analyst of the Year.
Ian now advises management teams, boards and investors on how structural disruption in media and advertising is reshaping competitive positioning and capital allocation. He works extensively with agency groups and has a deep understanding of their commercial models from both an advisory and capital markets perspective.
He holds an MA in War Studies from King's College London, which underpins his approach to analysing how geopolitical instability and economic conflict influence commercial strategy.
